New FDA hCG regulations

• The FDA has said that hCG drops being sold as “homeopathic” have not been approved as homeopathic drugs and are therefore illegal.

• Homeopathic drugs are heavily diluted and certainly do not work as well as prescription hCG injections. The FDA has likened the sale of hCG drops to “economic fraud.”

• Prescription hCG is legal – drops, sprays, and other varieties are not.

Does hCG actually work? Is it necessary?

Some argue that hCG does not help us lose weight – that simply maintaining the low calorie requirements of the diet would result in the same amount of weight loss, with or without hCG.

• The fact is, maintaining such a low calorie diet without the hCG supplement would be extremely difficult. hCG is key to suppressing appetite and sticking with the diet. On its own, the diet would cause extreme hunger, but people who have used our hCG diet plan (using prescription hCG injections) do not report feeling hungry.

• Most importantly, without the hCG weight loss will come from muscle, not just fat. Simply following an extremely low calorie diet will cause your body to eat at your tissues. The hCG causes your body to target your stored fat and burn it for energy, so you are losing the weight you want to lose.

• Weight loss with hCG does not cause the “gaunt” look you would experience by simply following a low calorie diet. People achieve the “gaunt” look when their body is in starvation mode. The hCG diet does not tell your body that it is starving – it simply tells it to burn up stored fat.
